Commission an Original Work
A commissioned painting is one of the most personal and meaningful investments you can make. Whether you are looking for a statement piece for your home, or a work that captures a place or feeling that matters to you — I would be honoured to create something made entirely for you.
What Can Be Commissioned
I accept commissions across all the subjects and styles in my practice — florals and still life, landscapes, figurative work, and abstract pieces. If you have seen something in my existing collections that speaks to you and would like something in a similar spirit but made specifically for your space, that is a wonderful place to start our conversation.
The Process
Every commission begins with a conversation. We discuss your vision, the space the work will live in, the colours and mood you are drawn to, and any personal significance you would like the painting to carry. From there I will provide a proposal including size, medium, timeline and pricing. Once agreed, I work closely with you throughout the process, sharing progress at key stages so you feel connected to the work as it develops.
Pricing
Commission pricing is based on the size and complexity of the work requested. As a guide, commissions begin from $800 AUD for small intimate works and scale with the size and detail of the piece. Full pricing will be discussed and agreed before any work begins. A 50% deposit is required to secure your commission, with the balance due on completion.
Timeframe
Timeframes vary depending on the size and complexity of the commission and my current schedule. This will be discussed and agreed at the start of our process. I am committed to keeping you informed throughout and will never rush a piece — a commission deserves the same care and attention as any work in my collections.
